CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to Scott for celebrating 10 years at Bridgend!

Scott started at our Irvine Branch as a Trainee Sales Executive and was there for his first four years before moving to Kilmarnock for two years then back to Irvine as a Sales Executive and now Sales Manager.

We asked Scott how his first ten years have been

“I find it good to be sitting on the other side of the same desk I was interviewed at 10 years ago by the manager then! My colleagues are great to work with, we have a good laugh but still hit our targets. Being truthful I like that our company isn’t run like an army camp. I love coming into work in the morning and love to have a positive, can-do attitude.
Car Sales is totally different now from when I first started. I was young and hungry and motivated by money, now being older and having a family I like spending time with them and the company gives you the flexibility to do either.

When I first started, I didn’t even know to do my tie and the admin girls had to do it for me!

The job has been good to me. It’s challenging but rewarding. It’s good to be in a company that backs you, rewards you and looks after you. The career progression is really good too.
My motto is come in to work, be happy, have a positive mindset and get the job done”
